Born in Mauden, Missouri, he was the son of Max Zane and Sarah Bledsoe Anderson. He married to Thelma Jane Lubbes December 15, 1937, and they lived their adult life in Warren, Arkansas, where Max operated an automotive body shop. He was preceded in death by a son, David Zane Anderson, and was survived by his wife, sons David Zane Anderson and Charles Chetwood Anderson and daughter Joaana Anderson Hudson.Son of Max Sr and Sallie Bledsoe

MAX ZANE ANDERSON, Jr., age 81, of 605 Bond Street, Warren, died Friday, August 6 at Wagnon Place Nursing Home in Warren [Bradley.

Born September 28, 1911 in Malden, Missouri, he was the son of the late Max Z. Anderson, Sr. and Sally Bledsoe Anderson. He was a retired body shop owner and a member of First United Methodist Church of Warren.

Survivors are his wife, Thelma Jane Lubbes Anderson; 2 sons, Zane Anderson of North Little Rock and Chet Anderson of Fort Smith; 1 daughter, Joanna Hudson of Fort Smith.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Anderson.

Other survivors are 1 brother, Baylor Anderson of Crossett; 1 sister, Jane Garrett of Monticello; and 5 grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Monday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m. in Monticello with Rev. David Steele officiating.

Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren was in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Aubert Reynolds, Sam Russell, David Russell, Bill Wisener, Gerald Burton, May R. Gregg Reep, E.M. Reynolds, John Cuthbertson, and James Robertson.
