"JOHN BAUMBERGER was born in the city of Berne, Switzerland, June 3, 1833. He came to America in 1855. The same year he married Elizabeth Burkhart, in Toledo. They have four sons and three daughters: John, Frank, Elizabeth, Anna, William, Clara and Albert. Mr Baumberger served during one enlistment in the late War, and, at its close recieved an honorable discharge. He has been Supervisor of Adams township. In politics is a Democrat. Is a gardener Post Office address is Toledo."
John is buried next to his wife Elizabeth.
