Angie loved family, church and the Italian Community. She was a member of the Societa del Santo Rosario and Our Lady of the Rosary Guilds at Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Much of Angie's life was centered around church activities, including the annual Spaghetti Dinner. She retired from American Linen Supply (formerly Kelly Laundry) and went on to participate in the Oasis Child Mentor Program at Grant Elementary School.
Angie loved to travel and toured Italy, visiting her mother's home in Riva Trigosa, Italy. Her winning smile and vivacious personality captivated people wherever she went and she will be missed by so many.
Angelina was preceded in death by her husband James who died in 1991. Survivors include sons Augie and James (Donna), grandchildren Michael Bregante and Diane Hamilton, great-grandson Brandon Hamilton, brother Fortunato Ghio (Laura), four nephews and two nieces.

Visitation on Monday, Jan 2, 2006 from 4 - 8 p.m. at Merkley-Mitchell Mortuary, 3655 Fifth Avenue, San Diego.
