WELLSVILLE - Shayne H. Brant, 24, of Wellsville, died at 2:55 a.m. Sunday in Dover Township.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Bible Fellowship, 675 Woodland View Drive, York. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery, York. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The Heffner Funeral Home of York Inc., 1701 W. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Brant was born in Sacramento, Calif. He was the son of Duane "Skip" E. Brant and Helene H. Brant of York
He was a 1988 graduate of West York Area High School, where he played both varsity football and basketball.
Employed for the past year by Pavex Inc., Camp Hill, a paving and excavation contractor, he was a member of Laborers International Union of North America Local Union 1167. He belonged to West Manchester Athletic Club and was an avid golfer.
Mr. Brant also is survived by a brother, Dana D. Brant of York
Nebr.; two half brothers, Timothy M. Poole of Placerville, Calif., and Andrew Jay Poole of Elk Grove, Calif.; a half sister, Deanne Poole of York; paternal grandmother, Lois Brant of West York; and paternal great-grandmother, Marion T. Kimmel of Somerset, Pa.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Kenneth L. Good, pastor of Faith Bible Fellowship. 12-27-92
