FUNERAL OF F.W. ACKERMAN
Funeral services over the remains of Frank Waverly Ackerman were held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the Methodist church, with Rev. Elvin Bowling in charge. There was a large attendance of friends who had known the deceased through the years of his residence m Basin and following a touching an helpful address by Rev. Bowling the remains were followed to Mountview Cemetery by a large number of friends.
The pall bearers were Messrs, C. C. Ellis, F. T. Brigham, W. A. Robb, Fred Frisby, S. M. Stout and O. W. Holdcrott.
Frank Waverly Ackerman was born July 7, 1859, at Friendship, Wis. On July 7, 1885, he united in marriage with Lou Ella Kimmons. They came to Basin in 1906, and had made their home here from that time.
Deceased leaves, in addition to his widow, four children, as follows: Mrs. Gilbert Herrick of Worland, Mr. Ralph W. Ackerman of Casper, Mrs. Harold Wilt of Salt Creek and Mrs. Edwin Hutchinson of Indianapolis.
Deceased was well known in this part of the country. He was a carpenter by trade and a good workman. He was a substantial, upright citizen, a good father and a kind and considerate husband. He will be missed by his many friends in this section and the sorrowing relatives will have the sincerest sympathy of all.
