David Crockett Wasdin Bardin was the son of Wasdin And Catherine Dickinson Bardin. He married Lorinda S. Jane Loden October 9, 1865 in Burleson Co., Texas. They were the parents of Mary E, Charles Leon, Dora, Alvy Thomas, and John Carter Bardin.

David Crockett Bardin served in the Confederacy for the State of Texas. He was the 24th Texas Cavalry, Wilkes' Regiment, 2 Texas Lancers, 2nd Regiment, Carter's Brigade.
