MARKLE--Mary Gertrude Markle died at her home three miles north of Medford Friday evening aged 76 years 7 months 23 days. Born at Terre Haute, Indiana November 15, 1850. For twenty five years she was a resident of Webber, Kansas, coming to Medford seven years ago. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Long Beach, California. She leaves five daughters and four sons. Mrs. Eva Watson of Bronson, Kansas; Mrs. Lena Sweet, Marion, Nebraska; Mrs. Mabel Zumwalt, Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. Mary Ballard, Douglas, Wyoming; Miss Anna L. Markle, Medford, Ore and sons H.P. Markle, Stockton, Calif.; C.E. Markle, Hudson, S. Dak.; T.H. Markle, Glasgow, Mont. G.E. Markle, Medford, Ore.
Twenty five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Perl Funeral Home Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. McDonald officiating. The remains will be forwarded to Long Beach, Cal. for interment.
