Claude T. Abboud, of Sammamish, died on February 10th, 2007 at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. He was 44 years old.

Mr. Abboud was born on August 28, 1962 in Beirut Lebanon. He was raised in Beirut Lebanon and gradated from Mon La Salle High School. He was defending his country during the war in Lebanon, because he believed in the cause for justice. He was best known for helping injured people and the many displaced families in Lebanon. He wanted to come to the United States to achieve his life goals and dreams. He married Alia Maroun on July 12, 1986 in Cleveland Ohio. He attended Cleveland State University.

Mr. Abboud started his first McDonald in lovelock Nevada and proved to be one of the best owner operators in the region. He later became an owner operator for 2 McDonald's franchises in Sacramento California. One of his many accomplishments was building a 1955 retro McDonalds in Sacramento. He became an owner operator of 5 successful McDonald Franchises in Seattle, Washington. He was involved with many charitable organizations such as, The Ronald McDonald House.

One of Mr. Abboud's many passions was helping others in need and being the driving force behind their successes. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, hunting, gambling, and watching his children's sport activities. When an opportunity presented itself, he was always willing to take the risk and work hard for what he wanted.

Mr. Abboud insists on being honest, genuine, and kind. He was the life of all parties. He loved to Dabke and made everyone laugh. His smile radiated across a room. His sense of humor made him funny and his sense of care and compassion made him loved by all.

In addition to his wife Alia, survivors include his daughter Gabrielle, his 4 sons Anthony, Jean-Claude, Pierre, and Paul, and his mother Jeannette Abboud.

A time of visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm, Monday, February 12, 2007 at Flintoft's Issaquah Funeral Home, 540 E. Sunset Way. A vigil service at Flintoft's will follow the visitation. A funeral mass will be said 11am, Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish. A committal service at Hillside Cemetery will follow mass.

The Abboud family suggests remembrances be made to American Cancer Society.
