A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, Myles had been a resident of Kensington, Conn. since 1966. He was employed at United Technologies in the Turbo, Power & Marine division for 40 years, until his retirement in the early 1990s. He was a member of the Berlin American Legion Post. He was survived by his wife of 59 years, five children, 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
