James was the youngest in a family of eight children. His parents are Wilton Joseph Festa and Lenora Nelson Festa. He attended Aetna Elementary School in Gary, and moved to Crown Point when he was about 7 years old. He attended Crown Point High School and traveled to Germany and Holland as a high school student and he loved Europe. James attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at Wabash. After graduating from Wabash, James was employed by the EDS Corporation in Grand Blanc, Michigan. James was a great person, with beautiful blue eyes and a wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed music (especially the B52's and Psychedelic Furs) and he loved to laugh. James passed away when he was 23 years old. Survived by his Mother, his brothers: Joseph (Carole), Michael (Collette), and David (Lori), his sisters: Christine (Michael McLain), Nanette (Michael Wargo), Mary Ann (Michael Olley) and Jennifer (Jean Graham), his nephews: Joseph Festa III, John Festa, Matthew Festa, Mark Olley, Michael McLain,Charles Festa, Daniel McLain, and Michael Wargo, and his nieces: Michelle Festa Morris, Nanette Donahue, Elizabeth Olley, and Jenni Festa.
