Alvin Earl "Red" Allred, 83 passed away March 4, 2004.

He was born the oldest of three children to Alvin Edson Allred and Ina Marie Ericksen Allred May 18, 1920, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Red served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Twylla Dawn "Toni" O'Dell, July 23, 1942. Solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was active in the LDS Church, and lived a life of service to his family and community. Retired from Tooele Army Depot and Grantsville City. Red was happy spending time with his family and friends, and looked forward to their visits. He was a hard worker, and he loved his hobbies.

Services will be held on Mon., March 8, 2004 at 1 p.m. at the Grantsville Stake Center 550 E. Durfee St. Viewing from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment at the Grantsville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Perpetual Education Fund or LDS Missionary Fund.
