Came to Belmont County about 1878-1879 from Greene County, PA. She had abandoned her husband, Thomas J. Penn. He subsequently sued for, and was granted a divorce(1885) in Greene County, PA. Margaret came to Belmont County with a Timothy Dunn and her children by Thomas J. Penn. She and Timothy had a son, John, born in 1879. Margaret and Timothy were living in Colerain Twp., Belmont Co. at that time. A second son, Charles, was born 1883 at St. Clairsville in Belmont Co. She had four other children by Thomas Penn, all of whom took the surname Dunn. These four children were sons; William, Herschel, and George, and a daughter, Olive. A divorce decree was granted Margaret against Timothy Penn in Dec 1888.
