Mrs. Ellen Cammack
Mrs. Ellen Cammack of 342 W. Clark St. died saturday at 9:10 p.m. at St. Michael's Hospital, where she had been a patient about 10 days. She was 78.
Mrs. Cammack daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dake, was born in the Town of Linwood May 4, 1887. Her father was chairman of Linwoold for many years and was later Portage County treasurer.
She attended school in this area and then taught throughout Portage County until 1910, when the family moved to South Dakota. She was also a teacher in South Dakota.
On June 17, 1914, she was married in South Dakota to Harry L. Cammack, who died July 5, 1926.
Since 1923, Mrs. Cammack had lived in Stevens Point. Before her death, she was living with her daughter, Mrs. Richard (Marjorie) Konpacky, at 342 W. Clark. Also surviving are three sons, Richard, Excelsior, Minn., Donald, Buffalo, S.D., an Vernon, Goldsboro, N.C.; a brother Martin Dake, Redig, S.D.; 17 grand children and four great grand children.
Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Boston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Perry H. Saito of St. Paul's Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will take place in Forest Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Cammack's name.
