Claire Hornsby Cohen passed away on June 14, 2005 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Mrs. Cohen was the wife of John O. Cohen and was the loving mother of Jason, Andy, Alex and Amanda. Survivors are her husband and children, her parents, Chris and Cindy Hornsby of Macon; her sister, Cathy Hornsby Shuman (Robby) and niece and nephew, Hannah and Brendan Shuman, all of Forsyth; grandparents, A. T. and Ouida Hornsby of Suwanee, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Cohen, Sr. Mrs. Cohen was a graduate of Macon's Central High School and Central Georgia Technical College with honors. She served as a Lab Technician in the U.S. Army for eight years and was employed as a Lab Technician with both the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Georgia Cancer Specialists.
