GUS FLENTGE OF GREENVINE DIES AGED 86
Funeral Rites Held From Residence of His Son

Gus Flentge, 86, life-long resident of Washington County, died Saturday evening, June 25 at the residence of his son, John Flentge of Greenvine, with whom he had made his home for the past five years.
Born at Latium April 18, 1852, Mr. Flentge spent his entire life in that section and engaged successfully in farming. Survivors include the following sons; Louis Flentge of Sommerville, Gus Flentge of Mill Creek, John Flentge of Greenvine, Otto Flentge of Wesley and Alfred Flentge of Mill Creek. He also leaves eleven grandchildren. His wife preceded him to the grave many years ago. Burial was in Greenvine cemetery by the side of his wife.
