Floyd (also known as "Bood") married Mary Jane in 1937 and is buried with her. He was survived by Mary Jane; two sons; two daughters; two brothers; two sisters; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were at the General Baptist Church, Old Keystone, Oklahoma, with the Rev. Ed Zickefoose officiating - Smith Funeral Home.
