Juanita "Snooks" Formby, 78, of Mulberry, died Thursday, July 22, 1993, at a Fort Smith nursing home. Born March 8, 1915, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ada McLaughlin Robertson. She was a retired cafeteria supervisor for Mulberry school system and a member of First Baptist Church of Mulberry. Mrs. Formby was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Earl. Survivors include two daughters, Melissa of Van Buren and Diane of North Little Rock; two sisters, Mary of Mulberry and Era of Tulsa; and one grandson, Jason of Van Buren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith, with Rev. Jim Box and Rev. Doug Applegate officiating. Burial was at New Cemetery, Mulberry. Pallbearers were Bud Braselton, Jerry Dickerson, Paul Perrier Jr., Fred Moon, David Marvin and Joe Benham.
