Conaway Funeral Scheduled Today.
Funeral for O. R. (Bob) Conaway, 52, of 1431 Westview, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Elliot's Chapel of Memories with Paul Witt, Church of Christ minister officiating. Buriel will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Conaway died Sunday night at his home. He had previously suffered a heart attack on July 1.
He was born Oct. 6, 1912 in Mitchell County, moved to Abilene in 1933 and married Margaret Kennedy here in 1937.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Weldon of 909 S. San Jose; two daughters, Mrs. Judy Harris of Houston and Miss Susie Conaway of the home, two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Haller of 1510 Washington Blvd. and Mrs. R.L. Sutphen of Clyde. Three brothers, P. A. of 1234 Matador, Dennis of 2110 Merchant and Otha of Westbrook.
Pallbearers will be Jim Haggard, Delbert Gibbs, Max Murrell, John Bostick, Rodolph Conaway, Dennis Conaway Jr, Jack Conaway and Dr. James Haller.
