Adele Biondi was born Adele Valillo in 1864 in Campobasso Italy. She married Ignatius Biondi in 1881 and had 11 children: John 1882-1940, Joseph 1884-1965, Alfred 1890-1970, Mildred 1893-1984, Nick 1895-1975, Anna 1897-1976, Mary 1899-1996, Margaret 1901-1996,Florence 1902-1947,Rose 1904-2002 and Lena 1906-2002. Her first four children were born in Italy and the last seven in America. at the time of her death in 1942 at age 78,she was the proud grandmother of 36 grandchildren. Her husband Ignatius of 54 years passed away 7 years earlier in 1935.
