Services for MRS. MAGGIE MAY HUNT ADAMS, mother of Judge Harry M. Adams of Circuit Court and Dr. Richard E. Adams, Memphis, Tennessee dentist, will be held at National Funeral Home at 1 p.m. today, with burial in Memorial Park. Dr. Howard R. Taylor of First Methodist Church will officiate.

Mrs. Adams, who was 86, died at 10:30 a.m. yesterday at her home, 531 Ellsworth, after a long illness. Her husband, Richard C. Adams, a merchant and traveling salesman, died about five years ago.

Mrs. Adams was born at Trenton, Tennessee, and came to Memphis to live in 1923. Since Mr. Adams' death she had lived alone, being devoted to her home and to her flower garden in which she spent much time.

In addition to her sons, both of Memphis, Tennessee, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. G. L. Herrington of Knoxville, Tennessee, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. ~~~ THE COMMERCIAL APPEAL, Memphis, TN, Mar. 12, 1950, page 34
