John married Wilma K. Adamson on August 25, 1989 in Pittsburg, KS. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, John Adamson, Jr. of Racine, WI, one daughter, Debra Vash of Kenosha, WI, one step-son, Mark currently in Iraq, three step-daughters, Kathie of Alabama, Veronica of Missouri and Shelly of Pittsburg, KS and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned.
Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Wilma was married to John P. [Paul] Adamson on August 25, 1982 [1989] in Pittsburg, KS. He preceded her in death in 2009.
She was a member of Seventh Day Baptist Church in Nortonville, KS.
Wilma is survived by her son, Mark J. Adamson; her three daughters, Kathleen Schafer, Daleville, AL; Veronica Hill, Carthage, MO; Shelly Morgan, Pittsburg, KS; and 15 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband John P. Adamson; two brothers, Curtis and Wilmer Stephan; and two sisters, Julia McCoy and Alice Maxom.
A visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS.
Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Nortonville Cemetery in Nortonville, KS.
