Birth: Mar. 3, 1952
Madera County
California, USA
Death: Oct. 28, 1971, Vietnam

Allen was a boy I knew from high school that was in band & was the most fantastic & talented drummer. My best memory of him was a drum solo from the 1940's he did at a school event one night that really got our parents going. They were clapping, cheering, "whooping it up" & when it was over he got a lengthy standing ovation. A first! We were sure he would make it big time as a drummer someday.
Sadly it was not to be. He lost his life trying to rescue a buddy in a flooding river. A heroic & tragic end.
