Thomas Paul DEAN
DEAN, Thomas Paul "Tom" Age 64 of Nashville, TN. August 3, 2011. Born January 31, 1947 in North Platte, NE. After serving in Vietnam as a U.S. Navy medic, Tom moved to Nashville in 1971 to pursue his love of music. He had a lengthy and colorful career in the music business as a professional singer, writer and guitar player. Together with his twin brother, Tim, they were known as The Dean Twins, and performed worldwide for 40+ years. Tom had a long list of interests working as a private eye, paralegal and a Parole/Probation Officer with the State of Tennessee. He was a kind man and had a love of animals, and was often surrounded by his furry friends. Tom is survived by his beloved twin brother, Timothy Earl Dean, Nashville, TN and a lifetime of friends. Graveside services with military honors are scheduled on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11 a.m., at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville (615-532-2238).
