Death: 1938

"Minnie" (nee Esberg) Carrick was my Great, Great Grandmother. She had an accent and could speak German. It shows on the 1900 Census her parents were born in Germany.

"Minnie" married Valentine Carrick in 1892. They were the parents of Laura, Viora, Robert, Valentine, William and Alice. We don't know much about "Minnie's" husband, as he later left the family.

Minnie cleaned apartment houses. My Grandmother,
Margaret, as a teenager, lived with her Grandmother, "Minnie", for a while after her parents died. She said Minnie was very strict. The family does not have a picture of "Minnie".
