John H. BOWLIN(1820 Spartanburg Co. SC--1862(42y)Pea Ridge, Benton Co. Arkansas. Private,CSA, 5th Missouri State Guard. Killed at Battle of Pea Ridge, Arkansas. s/o Isaiah BOWLING (1783 VA--1868 SC)& Mary.
m. Lucinda HOGAN in 1845 at Spartanburg, SC. Spartanburg SC to Walker Co. GA in late 1840s, to Greene Co. Arkansas abt 1857. John & Lucinda(1820 SC-1890 Greene Co. AR) had 9 children. Family records state that his remains & the remains of others killed at Pea Ridge were moved to the CONFEDERATE CEMETERY at Fayetteville, Washington Co. Arkansas. No marker.
