Carlin Sarah Davis, 16, of Milton, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at her home. She was born in Greensburg on July 14, 1998. Survivors include her father John Curran of Cincinnati and her mother Amy Davis of Milton, Kentucky; one sister Zada Lutz of Muncie; her maternal grandparents Wayne and Cindy Vanosdol of Holton along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Carlin had attended Deer Park High School in Cincinnati where she was a cheerleader and played the flute in the band. She would have been a junior this fall at Trimble County High School in Bedford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 24th at 12pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Bob McCreary of the Holton Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery near Holton. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10am until time of services. Memorials may be given to the Ripley County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
