Ostile Augustus, 89, of 1956 Newlove Rd., died in St John's Nursing and Convalescing Home at noon Tuesday. Born in Jeffersonville, OH., on Oct 6, 1893 the son of Almer and Sarah Augustus, he was a retired farmer and a member of the United Church of Christ of Enon. Survivors include two sons, Eugene of Springfield, and Wendell of South Charleston, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild His wife Ida Mae died in 1945.
Calling hours at Ingling William Funeral Home 6 to 8 pm Thursday, with services there at 10:30 am Friday. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
