She was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Ramseur Interlock. She Was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Allen, parents, James Luther and Lena Bell Rich Poole.
Survivors: step-daughters, Pamela Brown and husband, Mark, of Ramseur, Glennis Marney and husband, Randy, of Asheboro, step-sons, Tommy Allen and wife, Lynn, of Grundy, VA, seven grandchildren.
