Cletus D. Bonner (Shovelin), 39, well known Beaver resident, passed away at 11:10 o'clock Friday evening at his home in Beaver following a five day illness of pneumonia. He was born in Freeland and came to Beaver about 20 years ago. During the World war, he was enrolled at Camp Greenleaf, Georgia. His company was being held in readiness for overseas service when the war ended. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Lucy June Breckinridge Bonner; two sons, Chester Allen Bonner,5, and Cletus D. Bonner, Jr., 20 months; his step-father, John Shovelin of Aliquippa and two step-brothers, Jack and James Shovelin of Midland; a half-sister, Mrs. Ray Therasse of Aliquippa; a step-sister, Mrs. Thomas Cahill of Freeland and a foster sister, Miss Mary Deiter of Newark, New Jersey. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in the home, Fifth and Wayne Streets, Beaver. Rev. Charles D. Fulton, D.D., Beaver, will officiate. Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery.
