Corey Bobb, age 22, of Muscoda died Wednesday, October 21, 2009, doing what he loved, being on stage at UW - Richland. He was born July 24, 1987 the son of Robert and Linda (Delkamp) Bobb.
Corey graduated from Riverdale High School in 2006. He attended South West Technical College and was currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Richland Center, where he was pursuing a degree in musical education.
He was an active member of the Richland Community Players and UW Richland Theatres. Corey received rave reviews for his leading role performance in last year's performance of ‘Lumberjacks in Love.'
He was always ready with a smile and joke. He was someone that others looked to for help and support. Corey's unique personality and quick wit will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Corey is survived by his true love Julia Schneider of Gotham, his parents, Robert and Linda Bobb of Muscoda, his brother, Seth (Misty) Bobb of Muscoda, his nephews, Mason and Landon, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Funeral Service was held on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Coppertop Theatre on the UW - Richland Campus, with Father Emmanuel Famiyeh officiating.
Friends called at the Coppertop Theatre on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
Friends also called at The Coppertop Theatre on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 1:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.
Due to Corey's passing, UW - Richland officials have announced that the upcoming performances of "A Voice of The Prairie", of which Corey was a cast member, have been postponed.
New Performance Times for "A Voice of The Prairie" are: Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. and Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 2:00 P.M.
The Godager Funeral Home of Muscoda assisted the family with their arrangements.
