Ervin Henry Bloedow, age 86, of Richland Center died Monday, October 20, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.

He was born December 31, 1921 at his home in Bear Valley the son of Henry & Martha Bloedow. He married Dolores Joyce Berkley on August 29, 1946.

Ervin enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, and puttering around. He worked at the City of Richland Center in the Sanitary Department from 1959 -1985.

He also worked at Keegan's Feedmill. Ervin was a hard worker and was a jack of all trades.

Survivors include: his wife Dolores of Richland Center, 2 children, Paul (Bonita) Bloedow of Orlando, Florida, Susan (Arthur "Fritz") Stibbe of Richland Center; a grandson, David Stibbe of Richland Center, 3 sisters, Elizabeth Honer of Beloit, Sarah Grell of Lone Rock, Martha Mae Stoltz of HillPoint, as well as other relatives & friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter Michelle Wilson; two brothers Harold & Art Bloedow; and his sister Florence Shireman.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center.

Pastor Josh Pegram officiated with burial being held at the English Ridge Cemetery in Marshall Township.

Friends called on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Pratt Memorial Chapel from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M.

The Pratt Funeral Service of Richland Center assisted the family with their arrangements.
