Alfred J. Baker, Great Northern operator at Gold Bar, died Friday evening at his home there. Mr. Baker, 60 years old, had been ill only a few days. He is survived by a son, Ralph Baker, of Gold Bar. Mr. Baker was a pioneer railroad man and resided at Arlington for many years prior to going to gold Bar nine years ago. Mrs. Baker was a daughter of the late Judge Thacker. The remains were brought to Arlington by Undertaker C. H. Bakeman, funeral services being held Sunday at 2 p.m. from Moll's chapel. Interment was in Harwood cemetery.
