Daughter of Knud E. and Ingeborg K. (Hovi) Viste. Married John Anderson Dec 27, 1899 in Door County, WI. Bore six children: Dora Anderson Vertz, Gladys Anderson Boshka, Harold, Conrad, Glenn, and Gertrude Anderson Johnson (Glenn and Gertrude were twins), all deceased. Died in her home, and is buried in the Forest Lutheran Cemetery, close to her husband and one of her children (Harold).

Town of Forestville Resident Is Victim of Heart Ailment

Forestville- A heart ailment that had troubled her for several years brought death to Mrs. John Anderson, 69, Town of Forestville resident. She died Tuesday morning at 4 a.m. and the Rev. H. P. Walker officiated at funeral services Thursday afternoon, 1:30 from the Anderson home and 2 o'clock from the Forest church.

Burial took place in the Forest Lutheran cemetery and six grandsons were the pallbearers, Anton Anderson, N. E. Nelson, Melvin Olson, Henry Tronson, Charles Johnson and George Gilbertson. The Haucke Funeral home had charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Anderson, a daughter of Knute and Ingeborg Viste, was born in Manitowoc County May 27, 1872. She grew to womanhood in the Town of Clay Banks and married John Anderson in the Vignes Tanum church Dec. 27, 1899. For many years she was a member of the Forest Lutheran Ladies Aid society.

She is survived by Mr. Anderson and six children, three daughters, Mrs. Leo (Dora) Vertz, Sturgeon Bay; Mrs. Lucien (Gladys) Boshka, Washington Island, and Mrs. Rupert (Gertrude) Johnson, Washington Island, and three sons, Harold Town of Forestville; Conrad, Washington Island, and Glenn, Sturgeon Bay. Two brothers, Martin Viste, Vignes, and Nic Viste, Manitowoc, also remain. One sister and two brothers preceded her in death.

of Carnot Dies;
Funeral Thursday

Carnot-- A heart ailment that had troubled her for several years brought death to Mrs. John Anderson, 69, Town of Forestville resident. She died Tuesday morning last week at 4 a.m. and the Rev. H. P. Walker officiated at funeral services Thursday afternoon, 1:30 from the Anderson home and 2:00 o'clock from the Forest church.

Burial took place in the Forest Lutheran cemetery and six neighbors were the pallbearers, N. E. Nelson, Melvin Olson, Henry Tronson, Charles Johnson, George Gilbertson and Anton Anderson. Those who carried flowers were Mrs. Elden Nelson, Mrs. Melvin Olson, Mrs. Sam Anderegg and Mrs. Nels Vertz. Special music consisted of a hymn, "I know of a Sleep in Jesus Name", sung by Goodman Gigstead, and a Norwegian song, "En Ilden Stund", sung by Mrs. Dick Whitford, accompanied by Mrs. Goodman Gigstead.
