Norma Dillon, 58, of Daisytown, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at 8:03 p.m. in the emergency room at Brownsville General Hospital. She was born Jan. 30, 1945, in Richeyville, a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Lutz Durdines. Mrs. Dillon attended Beth-Center schools, had served in the U.S. Army W.A.C. and was a homemaker. She enjoyed arts, crafts, and Kroche. Survivors include her husband, Timothy Dillon of Daisytown; four sons, Timothy Dillon Jr. and wife Tammy of Allenport, Matthew Dillon and wife Carolyn of Connellsville, Scott Dillon and wife Ronda of Brownsville, and Charles Dillon and wife Kelly of Elco; one daughter, Sarah Underwood and husband Steve of Panama City, Fla.; three brothers, John Durdines of Centerville, Ronald Durdines of Santa Maria, Calif., and James Durdines of Beaver Creek, Ohio; four sisters, Shirley Calton of Henderson, Ky., Betty Sloan of Glenburn, N.D., Ann Durdines of Huber Heights, Ohio, and Mary Ridge of Daisytown; six grandsons and three granddaughters, Eddie and Ronnie Povrzenich, Timothy III, Dakota, Alexis and Cianna Dillon, Brenden Desanzo, and Jessica and Marissa Underwood. Mrs. Dillon was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, George Jr. and Robert J. Durdines and Patricia Egnosak. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main St., Beallsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 27, with the Rev. Cliff Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery, West Pike Run Township, Brownsville.
