Freddy Wayne Adams, 51, of Maynard, Ark., died Sunday, June 8, 2003, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Adams was born May 4, 1952, in Paragould, Ark. He was a heavy equipment operator and traveled doing construction work. He was a member of the Nazarene Church in Knobel, Ark., and was a U.S. Marines veteran. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, playing guitar, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include two daughters, Andrea Michelle Adams of Rushville, Ind., and Jessica Diane House of Greenfield, Ind.; four sisters, Linda Lou Collins, Verla Marie Huffman and Anna Lee Right, all of Corning, Ark., and Brenda Sue Adams of Neelyville; two brothers, his twin brother Eddie Ellis Adams of Jonesboro and Henry Preston Adams of Carthage, Texas; two grandsons, Grant and Trevor; and his companion, Donna.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Louis Ellis 'Jack' and Myrtle Marie (Copeland) Adams, and one sister, Glenda Kay Kimble.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Chapel in Neelyville. The graveside funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at Legate Cemetery in Maynard.
