Doctor of Dental Surgery. Husband of Cleta Box England. Born in Hillsboro, Texas.

Graduated from Hillsboro High 1923, Baylor Dental College, Dallas, Texas. Father of Beverly Ann England Yelvington of Athens, and Barbara Jo Johnson, New Braunfels, Texas. (A 7 year old son drowned while they lived in Linden, Texas: Eugene Lee England: 1929-1937, buried in Linden Cemetery No. 1 ).

Served as Captain in U.S. Army, World War II, family lived in St. Augustine FL during war years. Elder in Presbyterian Church, later became a Methodist.

Former owner of Sands Motor Court in Athens, his dental offices were upstairs on the Southwest corner of the Athens courthouse square. Practised hypnotherapy as an alternative anesthetic for many dental surgeries - about 1/3 of his patients responded positively from this technique.

Died at San Antonio TX at Audie Murphy Veterans' Hospital with family all around him.

A loving grandfather who loved a good "see-gar" - I can't remember him not wearing a tie and his "Tom Landry" fedoras. He loved those crazy looking old Chryslers and Plymouths.

He is still remembered in conversation, dearly loved and missed...
