Company A "Wilkinson Invincibles" of Wilkinson County, 49th Georgia Infantry, Thomas' Brigade, A.P. Hill's Division, 2nd Corps, Army of Northern Virginia, C.S.A.

Residence Wilkinson County GA; 18 years old.
Enlisted on 3/4/1862, he was mustered into "A" Co. GA 49th Infantry as a Private.
He died of disease at Camp Gregg, VA.

The 49th Infantry Regiment was organized in November, 1861, with men from Wilkinson, Talfair, Washington, Irwin, Laurens, Pierce, and Pulaski counties.
