The annual meeting of the state grange, Patrons of Husbandry, was opened at the Agricultural college at Minneapolis on Wednesday last, and was called to order by Mr. T. T. Smith, of St. Paul, Master. Among the officers of the Grange present were J. G. Hawkins, overseer; N. Small, steward; N. H. Post, assistant steward; Mrs. Sarah Baird, ceres; Mrs. Isabella Blaisdell, pomona; Mrs. AUGUSTA J. ADAMS, flora; Miss Stanchfield, lady steward; D. D. Moore, gatekeeper, and the executive committee composed of Samual [sic] E. Adams, J. D. Schofield and W. S. Chowen [remainder omitted].
