Hosie is the 9th child of Dock and Mary (Butler) Briley. Hosie married Ernestine Hankins on August 7, 1944 and they had 9 children. He made his home in Clear Creek and raised his children there. Augustine Neal, Hosie Jr., Johnny Vester, Robert Lewis, Travis Eugene, Raymond Ezekiel, Lawrence Darnell, Robin Michelle Miller and Carolyn DeLane Briley all of Valliant Oklahoma. Hosie Sr. was the last living child of Dock and Mary (Butler) Briley and he leaves a legacy of beautiful memories, stories, friends, family and love through the Briley line. He was a life time member of the Clear Creek Church where services were held with burial at Clear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Rogan Funeral Home. (Edit contributor Lea Dora Brown-Briley)
