A neighbor recalls attending the graveside services and being heartsick as she watched big tears rolling down the face of David's little sister, Katharine. She was unwilling to allow her father to comfort her because she was unable to understand that when he left the house carrying David he was going to get help for him. The little girl associated her father with her baby brother's death, and was struggling to understand that he wasn't the cause.

A nurse on duty at the hospital when David's father rushed him in for emergency help decorates his tiny grave on a regular basis.

David had some kind of lung condition that required him to be on oxygen for most of his short life, if not all of it.

Information from this little fellow's paternal grandmother is as follows:

Born in Billings, Yellowstone County, Montana
Died in Jordan, Garfield County, Montana
Buried the 5th of March 1993 in Hearts at Peace.

Mother's name: LeeAnn Cherie COX
Father's name: Gerald Lee BLATTER
