BARBARA LEE BURGESS
Barbara Lee Burgess age 45 of Jordan passed away Friday, September 30, 1993 at the Deaconess Medical Center in Billings.
Barbara was born on October 17, 1947 at Jordan, Montana, the daughter of George Thomas and Joyce Aileen Jackson Ryan. She attended the Spring Creek country school and the Garfield County High School in Jordan. She moved to Portland, Oregon, where she worked as a nurses aide for a year and a half then returned to Jordan.
Robert Burgess and Barbara were united in marriage on march 18, 1977 in Billings, Montana. She worked for area ranches, for Willy Murnion Feeds, the Garfield County Health Center, and most recently for the Tradewind Shopper.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert of Jordan, MOntana; her son, Lester Burgess of Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Kam Lee Murnion of Jordan, Montana and Michelle Hanson of Helena, Montana; her mother Joyce Aileen Ryan of Jordan, Montana. She is also survived by three brothers, Michael Ryan of Helena, Montana, Tom Ryan of Jordan, Montana, and Bill Ryan of Melstone, Montana and five sisters, Audrey Guesanburu of Jordan, Montana, Patsy Fitch of Alzada, Montana, Diana Vollmer and Roxie Saylor of Jordan, Montana and Terry Mury of South Miles City, Montana and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father George in 1979.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Barbara's family for a monument for her.
