Ronald George Bixby
Visitation: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth and again on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Labre Mission in Ashland.

Ronald George Bixby, age 57 of Ashland, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, January 26, 2008
Ronald was born January 26, 1951, the son of Edward George and Helen Rose (Sturdivent) Bixby in Sheridan, Wyoming. He was raised up Kirby Creek and attended school in Busby, graduating in 1969. Following graduation he worked as a ranch hand in Kirby, MT until 1971. In 1971, Ronald worked as a teacher's aid at St. Labre School.
He was united in marriage to Wanda Hanic on May 27, 1972 in Ashland. To this union their son Corey was born. Along with ranching, Ronald began work as a Combination Technician for Range Telephone in 1973. At the time of his death, Ronald had been employed with Range Telephone for 35 years and he also continued to ranch.
When Ronald wasn't busy with his careers, he enjoyed being a MOA referee and was also active in the Stacey Roping Club, Ashland JC's and the Rosbud County Pool League. He also enjoyed hunting, watching pro basketball, horse shoes, team roping, and playing pool. Ronald will also be remembered for his occasional practical jokes that he would pull on his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Helen Bixby.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 35 years, Wanda Bixby and their son Corey (Agnes) and future grandchild Colby George Bixby all of Ashland, MT. He is also survived by his brothers, Mickey Caywood of Busby, MT, David (Dominga) Bixby of Ashland, MT and Bobbie (Norma) Bixby of Kirby, MT.
