ARDIRE, Philip G. Ardire on October 7, 2010; of Voorhees, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ; age 89 years. Beloved husband of 64 years to Alma (nee Dickinson); Devoted father of Linda and her husband Jim Beach; Philip D. and his wife Donna; and David and his wife Carmela; Loving grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 10; Dear brother of Grace Nardi, Mary and her husband Ted Mirenda, Fanny DiBenedetto, and the late Biaggio Ardire. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Ardire was owner/manager of Phil's Texaco in Bellmawr, NJ. He was a Honorary Third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Cherry Hill Council #6173, and Fourth degree member of Bishop Eustace Council. Mr. Ardire was also Past President of St. Stephen's Mens Club, Chairman of the Bishop's Anniversary Hour (20 years) and one of the first recipients of the Bishop's medal for the Diocese of Camden. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday from 7 to 9 PM and Tuesday from 8:15 to 9:15 AM at the FALCO/ CARUSO & LEONARD Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at the Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum in Cherry Hill. The family requests memorial donations be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053 or to St. Mary's at the above address.
