Balog, Ann (nee Szplet) age 94 of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2014; Ann is preceded in death by her previous 2 husbands Casey Bakula and Paul Balog and all her brothers and sisters; Beloved companion of Ted Nazar; Loving mother of James (Karen) and Camille (Patrick) Bernel of North Carolina; Cherished grandmother of Casey (Courtney) Bakula, James (Leah) Bakula, Michelle (Peter) Moore,Matthew (Kim) Mazzeo and Michael (Cheryl) Mazzeo; Great grandmother of 11; Tri-City Senior volunteer for 30 years and member of Western Reserve Rose Society
The family will receive friends in celebration of Ann's life at Humenik Funeral Chapel, 14200 Snow Rd, Brook Park, on Wednesday May 14th from 2-4 & 6-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Rd., Brook Park, on Thursday at 9:30AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
