Mrs. Olive Hedyth Cianci Powell, 62, of Moberly, Randolph County, Missouri, died Tuesday, 3 April 1984 at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Italian immigrants, Mario Cianci (Barber) and Elvira D'Federico Cianci, and had lived in Moberly since 1968. Prior to that time, she owned and operated Mario's Beauty Salon in Philadelphia for 33 years.
Mrs. Powell was a former president of the Little Dixie Concert Association and the Little Dixie Art Association in Moberly. She was also a former president of the Moberly Welcome Wagon, the Women's Association of the Presbyterian Church, the Moberly Culture Club, and the Moberly Music Club. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the American Legion Lady's Auxiliary. She had been chairman of the board of directors of Camp Fire Inc. in Moberly.
