Isabella was born in Campbeltown, scotland to John William Mclannahan Anderson and Josephine Mccallum. She came over with her husband Andrew Phillip Dron in 1897 to Big Oak Flat, ca. They had three children: John Anderson Dron who was born in Maybole, scotland, Andrew Phillip Dron jr and Gladys Josephine Dron who were both born in Big Oak Flat. Gladys's ashes were put in her parents graves.
