Ralph Evan Argyle passed away Dec. 13, 2011. Ralph was born in Randolph, Utah, Sept. 7, 1931, the 11th of 12 children born to Alma Monroe Argyle and Emma Ireta Mitchell.
Ralph graduated from South Rich High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in animal husbandry and a double minor in agricultural economics and horticulture in June 1959 from Brigham Young University.
On June 26, 1951, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, Squadron 3419. His four years of military service were during the Korean War, and he was nicknamed "Sarge."
Uncle Ralph was loved by his many nieces and nephews, and will be greatly missed. He was a cowboy who enjoyed ranching as a way of life.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; siblings Max Argyle, Jacqueline
Jordan, Von Argyle, Wayne Argyle, Cyril Argyle, Alma Argyle Jr., Dorothy Gallafent,
Lamar Argyle, Arlo Argyle, David Argyle and Arthur Argyle.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Randolph LDS Church in Randolph, Utah, at 1 p.m. A viewing will be held Friday, Dec. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery.
