Wilma Ann Rasmussen Buck, 69, passed away February 17, 1999. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her death.
She was born on October 6, 1929 in Evanston, Wyoming the daughter of Nephi Andrew and Melva Ann (Calderwood) Rasmussen. She grew up in Evanston and graduated from Evanston High School. She married Max Cornia Buck on March 16, 1949. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. They resided in Woodruff, Utah at their ranch for the remainder of their lives. n the years following the death of her husband Max, she would spend at least one day a week doing temple work. She later became a worker in the Ogden, Utah L.D.S. Temple, a calling which she dearly loved. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers in Randolph, Utah.Survivors include a daughter, Connie Ann Buck of Salt Lake City, Utah; son, Steven Max (Ludean) Buck of Evanston, WY; daughter, Jeannie (Michael) Buck Atkinson of Laramie, WY; sister, Louise Staley of Evanston, WY; brother, James Andrew Rasmussen of Evanston, WY; grandchildren, Alexsis Atkinson, Rob and Joni Henderson. Preceded in death by her husband Max, her parents and a sister.
Funeral Services will be held at the Woodruff L.D.S Chapel on Saturday, February 20, 1999 at 1 p.m. Friends may call at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and at the church from 11:30 -12:45 on Saturday. Interment will be in the Woodruff Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston, Wyoming.
