Brother Farmer was my friend and spiritual father. I met him at church were we both attend 10 years ago. We served on the usher board together he was a faithful servant of God, even when he didn't have to usher he was always there to lend a hand even when he wasn't feeling well he would still help. I will miss him because he was meek and kind. I would bring him bottles and cans for him to recycle...he was so grateful. I will truly miss my friend seeing him in church was a good feeling for me because when I didn't see him or his wife I would be concern and he was the same way about me when he didn't see me. I know you are at peace I will never forget you because you were truly a friend. He was educated in Rocky Mountain and worked in a feed mill as well as caring for his ailing father. To make a better life for his family they moved to Boston in 1967. He later met and became the beloved husband of Estelle V. Farmer they celbrated 43 years of marriage they raised Janice and Ramona Velaquez- Farmer. He worked for many years at the Walnut Nursing Home In Dorchester and held other positions until he was disabled in 1987. Brother Farmer hobbies, putting puzzles together, walking, playing checkers and collecting bottles for recycling; he enjoyed good conversation and a hearty laugh.
