Hester C. Aiken, 91, of Columbus, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000 at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Surviving include: a son, Robert Aiken of Pataskala, Oh; and grandchildren: Mrs. Deborah Fridley and Mrs. Bobbi Murphey; three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Dr. Marshall H. Aiken, and a sister, Gertrude Witbeck..

At Mrs. Aiken request there will be no formal funeral service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin, at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Schoedinger East Chapel, (614) 861-6268.
